The two weekends before I left NY for my vacation we spent some time visiting museums - the American Museum of Natural History & MOMA. I have been to both but Peter wanted to have these museums 'under his belts' before his curator sister Inara's visit in April. Haha.

Museum of Natural History

The Museum was founded in 1869 and housed in the old Arsenal building in Central Park. Theodore Roosevelt, Sr., the father of the 26th U.S. President, was a co-founder. That's the statue ofTeddy Roosevelt.

Museum of Modern Art

The museum is regarded as the leading museum of modern art in the world. Its collection includes works of architecture and design, drawings, painting and sculpture, photography, prints and illustrated books, film, and media.

MOMA is regarded as the leading museum of modern art in the world. Its collection includes works of architecture and design, drawings, painting and sculpture, photography, prints and illustrated books, film, and media.
