Sorry felines...I procastinate alot when it comes to blogging lah. But Poosy's pimping me on the site now- she's going out of her way to make me feel bad about neglecting the website by posting my NY updates on my behalf. I feel really bad now yo.

Anyway, I'm lazy too so I'm cutting and pasting from my Multiply ok:

When we woke up on Sunday I gave Mr. Walden two proposals - take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty or walk the Brooklyn Bridge. He picked the latter.

Most of the photos taken on the bridge...the whole time cursing myself for not having a more advanced camera (unlike some ppl I dont have a Nikon D60!). On the other side of the bridge we discovered Brooklyn Heights - a real gem- and again too bad we were too busy stuffing our face with fantastic Chinese food before we realised that by the time we finish it would be too dark for me to photograph the beauty of the historical brownstones. Daymn. Other times I guess.

I truly recommend the walk especially for alone time and self-reflection (no Walden, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy your whinging *sarcastic look* when I stopped many many times for my many many shots. I did. I had a fantastic time sweetie).

weekend is here

since no one has been updating..
here are some photos...

*enjoy*

nice??

anyway, for the other readers who don't frequent my blog. here's an update on my life.
sorry am cutting and pasting, damn lazy to write. heh.

Followed mom to a Burmese refuge on Monday to check the place out as her friend volunteers to teach there. Before entering the "classroom", we were told that we needed to log our visit in the Visitor's Log Book, just four names above mine, guess whose name was there.

Maureen Wheeler.
Yes, the co-founder of The Lonely Planet.
Yet, another sign.
Hmm...

on another note...
to those that know my short-term (next two-three months plans),

i've decided to take the low-payroll because I want to volunteer at this Burmese refuge as they are in need of volunteer teachers. so heck, the low-paying job should be pretty flexible with time and what not, thus allowing me to do the volunteer job for the next couple of months.

does that mean I'm saying no to money? in a way i guess i am.
but hey, i'm still wide open for other work-from-home stuff, which enables me to make that additional buckeroos. last nite was good money though. two hours job for 500. :) i wonder if hookers feel the same. haha. no, well, i helped photograph an event, i didn't whore myself, mind you.

so yesterday, Friday was my FIRST day. :)

he class I taught today had an approximate of 25 students, age ranging from 3-15. I know, it is ridiculous isn't it? Mixing up that age group with different level of understanding. See, the system that they have, I suppose it is still quite new, hence the big concoction of ages in a class. Anyway, it was fun. It really was. I never ever thought that > I < would enjoy teaching.

ok that's all.
happy weekend

HANG ON

since Kitty has been slacking in her updates.. *cough cough*
I'm going to whore her out BIG time. Check out my Kinky Friend.

now , now BOYS...
hold your horses together. :)
well, yeah of course you can't have the original sized!! duh!!
see Kit at least I desaturated it, made it look less err...attractive. hehe.

SHE IS TAKEN OK!!!! by that guy.

psst...if u really want me to take it down let me know. heh.

there's this local movie made. the main character's name is Ah Bee. a friend of mine noted this and told me to chikkit out. i thought it's cute. hee.

Another film in competition

YEO Joon Han’s short comedy Girl in a Soap Bubble will be competing at the Hawaii International Film Festival which kicks off this Thursday.

The film stars Jerrica Lai and model/actor Steve Yap, and revolves around Ah Bee (Lai), a simpleton who is left in charge of a laundry business when the owner takes a holiday.

When Yap’s handsome character drops off his laundry, she is instantly smitten. Simple she might be but she knows her plain, uneducated self would never stand a chance with him. So she does the next best thing – go through his laundry to pick up clues on his character.

“It’s like a hall of mirrors, cheekily playing on our expectations and testing to see if we would be as quick as Ah Bee to judge a person by what he wears,” reveals Yeo.

He thinks the main actors and the supporting actors are very good in the film and for that reason he hopes the work gets a wider audience.

instant thought

i am not used to blogging; i feel naked
anyway, right this instant, i feel like typing away
i have absolutely nothing to do at this moment
all that is in my mind is about my future
every damn day thinking about what's going to happen,
who am i going to meet?
am i going to live happily ever after?
or do i need to work my bum off to live just an okay life?
i just want to live comfortably
i'm beginning to converse with my future self

future bee : so, wassup, kiddo?
current bee: how u doin? are u happy? livin in a comfy life?
future bee : yeah yo. i am!! thanks to you! if not for your hard work & all, i
wouldn't be here feeling so contented

WOW. yes yes yes. that is what i wanna hear from my future self. coz right now, i can only converse with my past self, and i'm not liking it much. grrr.

yo felines sekalian, i need to hang out to rant & rave...!! urgh. faster come back, kit, faster come back!!
