hey poos, y do i always encounter with probs while blogging? i can only post up to 5 pictures at 1 go! well anyways, here are the 5 pictures taken at the Met museum.. kitty & garf at the entrance
there are many-many sections in the museum. like, modern art, cypriot art, ancient near eastern art, korean, asian, european, american, japanese, chinese, 19th century europian, medieval, africa, oceania, greek & roman, egyptian.. blablabla.. the few pictures posted here are from the musical instruments section.. i shall post up the rest from other sections when this blog isn't acting crazy.. very interestingly-shaped violin
i notice this violin has double-deck strings la.. i haven't heard/ seen! apparently the bottom one is called Sympathetic Strings. instead of being bowed, the sympathetic strings vibrate by themselves when the bowed melody strings sound notes to which the symblabla strings are tuned. the result? combined sound with rich, silvery quality.
very interestingly-shaped guitars
very interestingly-shaped saxophone
why, oh, why does this blog wanna act up when i'm in the mood to blogggggg.. grr..
this is me, trying to make a mark before I left Siem Reap.the most commercialized destination of my trip, it was
memorable nevertheless. i miss Indochina, but i'm happy
to be home.
trying to make a statement, I drew as though the nextperson that would've seen it would be the foreign minister
of Malaysia. well, it is always good to have wishful thinking.
maybe now we should propose for a ban for muslims to go mekkah.
Hah! that is exactly what it is for everyone else who isn't muslim
who can't go to Israel. stupid, stupid stupid.
So, anyway...SAY NO TO BAN!!!
the brooklyn bridge and water taxi from a distance
very, very artsy people standing around.. it was actually kinda windy/ cold, say, about 15 degrees or so? and the girls actually stood in the water, frozen like a statue, and change pose about every 10 minutes..
I WANNA GO BACK TO NEW YORK!! oops sorry, anyway, the bridge behind is called the Manhattan bridge.. eh, correct right, jess? there are 3 bridges situated on the south-east side of manhattan.. 1. Brooklyn 2. Manhattan and 3. Williamsburg. did i get it right, jess?
