Mucho gracias Kitty for posting up the photo!!

For easier referral, I shall type it out here for readers convenience.

"So, what do you want to do with your life?"

You should be a lawyer, a doctor, an accountant, a consultant...
blah, blah, blah.

Everywhere you turn people try to tell you who to be and what to
do with your life. We call that noise. Block it. Shed it.

Leave it for the conformists.

As a generation, we need to get back to focusing on individuality,
self-construction rather than mass production.

Define your own road in life instead of traveling down someone
else's. Listen to yourself.

Your road is the Open Road. Find it.

Find the Open Road

It couldn't have been said any better!
Kitty and I are big on taking on the road less traveled. We are the ones who are sort-of against conformists. Reading that passage was just spot on on how we view life. That being said...

I went on to their website to have a more detailed understanding about what the green campervan is all about. Road Trip Nation touches base with young adults who are either lost, unsure or simply free-spirited (as mentioned by Kitty). It takes on living life the way you want to live it and not by following others.

Just as I suddenly felt like changing my profile on Friendster, Kitty puts up this post, such perfect timing... It reads :

.... i'm against conformity, you think outside the box ; you also live outside the box....

After reading through their website, I started googling for other similiar beliefs/practice/whatever... and I came across this rather interesting group/movement or what-chu-ma-callit.

Rainbow Family is a worldwide thing that promotes Peace and Love. Much like a hippie sort-of practice, only in a bigger and more loving way I suppose. Scratch the thought of promiscuity, happy-herbs and the negative relations as its sole purpose is to gather the people who have the same belief and outlook in life. After reading up on the Rainbow Family, I am glad to know that there's actually organizations and the likes out there on the same beliefs as we do. Pretty interesting yo.

I'm sure everyone is familiar with the old forwarded email entitled Quarter Life Crisis. Hopefully after reading up on Open Road, you guys would know how to take on that so called crisis hey. As for me, my so-called quarter life crisis has been diminished throughout the past one year, before I officially turn 25. I would have to say that this is all thanks to the experiences in situations and people I've encountered. I am grateful for it.

So, all you need to do is figure out what makes you happy. Or like Caltex's tagline "what drives you"
Find your true-calling and serve and/or act it out. Do what your heart desires and start setting your own rules. Stop following the crowd, be a non-conformist. Take some time to discover more about life instead of being led on by the society. If you choose not to be a leader, at least be yourself, not a pathetic follower like the rest of the world. Individuality rocks socks!!

Hey Kit, write a better post. My brain isn't functioning too properly lately, can't write a decent post about this. Heh. You and me share the same ideal...so go and spread the word.

Today, people, Today!!
Be A Non-Conformist!
