Since I've heard all the chinese new year fun you guys have been having back home -

Carol + Julian + Andrew eating, suntannin, and boat riding in Penang and
Bee + Chin Hui visiting, collecting ang paos, and getting their destiny read in Seremban,

I will share mine about walking through the chinese new year crowd in Chinatown. Ok.

We were hoping to catch a glimpse of adoptive parents with their Chinese babies (don't ask why, I guess it is cuz we're considering adoption ourselves, although not necessarily from China)... but we saw only one or two.

After the lion dances and streamers and kids screaming in our ears, we took a stroll to Tribeca to have brunch at Bubby's. Bubby's like a full on New York institution, especially for brunch. Check out the yummylicious menu here.

Hi Lynette,

I actually didn't notice the comment til I saw this one =)

I don't think its freaky to reach out to strangers at all. in fact, from past experiences, i almost always have a better chance at hitting it off with a total stranger rather than being introduced by a 'friend of a friend of a friend' sorta thing.

anyway, in response to ur question....its such a complex question to me (is there hope at all?). maybe we'll have an open discussion on that if we get the chance hey.

i do have something to share about being in relationships though. and that even when it is the right person, it is still hard. i sometimes want to strangle my partner and vice versa. there are real hard times, and we even doubted being together. but on top of those, we also had absolutely 'high' times. and when ur having 'down' times, its very important to have 'high' times to hang on to i think...thats how it is for us.

but u also said ur 24 (i'm 25). .and we're really young...unless you find that person that u sure is the right person for u, maybe take it easy and try to just have fun (this is when i say there isnt much hope in men esp younger ones haha..)

i dont know if u got that last bit but hey mail me if u want. its yew.jessica@gmail.com.

cheers!
