Today I woke up reminiscing my life in KL. I'd go as far as saying I miss it a little, maybe a lot at times, particularly face-to-face interactions and weekly activities with friends who have always been a huge part of my life.

Having said that, I am on my personal journey, the kind that everyone has to undertake at some point in their lives if they wish to move on and grow. Upon embarking on such journey, the first thing that one learns is to let go of the comfort of the things he knows in search of something more.

I must say that I've decided that life as I see it is made for exploration and whole lotta journeys, not sitting idle in security and never taking any risks. On the other hand, that also means sacrificing or doing without some of the things that are dear to you.

So from time to time, I have had to deal with the feelings I am feeling right now - somewhat melancholy, somewhat nostalgic, and wanting to dream about a friend or moment and being able to pick those things straight off the dream and plunk them into reality.
