Sabaidee everyone...!

I'm currently in Vang Vien, Laos and we're heading faaaar down south later today to Pakse. Its been raining alot because its the rainy season now, I suppose that also explains the amount of tourist in this area. We rented motorbikes yesterday and drove around this area, visited villages and caves. Getting on the bike was a good decision because we get much better view, plus you get the breeze! We also experienced heavy rain on a bike, and now we know how thos Mat Motors back home feel like when its raining. Don't worry, we had our ponchos on. The only part of our bodies that was drenched is our feet and face. hehe.

Sabaidee is Laos' sawadeeka. :)

Clothes here are pretty damn cheap. You could get a t-shirt for about RM8 and girls top at RM6. The food here isn't exactly cheap if you eat in a restaurant, but if you eat by the roadside (like we did last night), a LaoLao Noodle Soup w/fish or pork costs aroun RM1.40. Damn cheap rite? Best.

We met a couple of interesting people on our way here and I would so love to tell you guys about it, but so far I've written everything down in my journal as mentioned in the previous email.

Despite the fun, the laughs, the sights, the new tastes, the new language....I do miss home. Hee...who would've thought huh?
Can't wait to share the photos with you all, but obviously the filesize is just too damn big lah.

Be back in a week!!!

xoxo
Carol
