Buildings in Macau

spent 4 days in Macau. gonna post photos of buildings seen there.

we stayed at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. it is so huge we needed a map to go about! apparently it's large enough to hold 90 Boeing 747 jumbo jets.

Santa Casa Da Misericordia (Holy House of Mercy) @ Senado Square
established by the 1st Bishop of Macau in 1569, it was modelled after 1 of the most prominent & charitable organization in Portugal, & was responsible for founding the 1st western-style medical clinic & several other social welfare structures that still function to this day.

St. Dominic's Church
founded in 1587 by 3 Spanish Dominican priests who came from Acapulco in Mexico, this church also connected to the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary. the bell tower at the back is modified into a small museum of Sacred Art.

Ruins of St. Paul's
this is the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835.

see that building at the back? the one with a yellow onion thing on top? that's the Grand Lisboa Casino.

Military Club

i dunno what this building is.

Galaxy StarWorld Casino

Wynn Macao (Hotel)

i dunno what building this is. but i thought it's kinda cool too.

Sands Macao (Casino Resort)

the Cultural Centre

and here's a short clip of the Venetian Hotel and the City of Dreams where there are the Crown Towers, Hard Rock & Grand Hyatt.
