Times Square, located at a major intersection in Manhattan, has achieved the status of an iconic landmark - with its thousands of neon signs and digital advertisements on billboards. very colourful, even during daytime. i've never seen such many billboards cramped like this..!!

hard rock picture - dedicated to aristowe walked along the busy streets, entered the Toys 'R' Us store.. hearsay that there's a ferris wheel inside? so we entered to chekkit out
heaps of board games weyy.. wuahh.. *salivating*.. there's this Monopoly.. which has Credit Card too?? it really works, apparently.. there's this calculator-looking thing.. and the card can be swiped through it? the figures will show?? wow.. high tech..
and this jenga..! (Girl Talk edition.. heehee) it's wrapped in pink, as u can see.. some sorta soft leather kinda material.. so i guess when they fall, they aren't that noisy? and there are questions written on the block.. stuffs like "what is your favourite website?", "if u had 1 wish, what would u wish for?".. sorta like creating topics to chat kinda thing..

and there are a few Cranium versions.. u know those Branched out categories? the 4 of them? they have separate ones also.. probably with enhanced features/ more questions loh.. kitty said they actually sell the play cards only too.. and above shows "guess what i'm thinking" game?? dunno how it goes la.. cute la the illustrations..

saw this cat on the way out.. sorta gives me a Halloween-ish feel..

iyiorrr.. melting chocolate man weyy..

this is the ferris wheel in the store.. it's of 3 storeys high.. yup.. there are 3 floors of TOYS!! i don't know what the world has become la.. such detailed toys/ dolls.. i seriously think the toys today are totally unnecessary loh.. i mean, Bratz (the Mean Girls kinda look dolls) seem more Hip than the conventional Barbie dolls.. and these dolls own so many things - material wise - a doll house, doll car, pretty frocks, funky mobile phones, fashionable bags/ hats/ shoes to match with.. like jess n i agreed, kids nowadays are being sucked up into all this Material World - and might create Competition at such a tender age.. u know? like, comparing among friends whose toy is more Powerful than whose etc etc.. the video games.. etc etc.. yiohhhh.. headache..

after walk-walk around times sq area, we walked over to Rockefeller Center - a place where they combine retail, entertainment & office space.. and of course, during christmas, this is where the biggest tree will be at- filled with millions of lightssssss!!! arghhhhhh i wanna see!!!! i tried to visualize that when i was there.. like, mentally superimpose.. it's because of the movie Home Alone that made me go "wuahhhh, i wanna go there i wanna go there.." since young..

see those flags behind? that is where the x'mas tree would be.. i think kitty posed up some pictures taken here last x'mas..

and of course, this is the skating rink, in front of the Rockefeller Plaza..

this place caters a rather upscale retails.. chimpz and i were looking around, snapping pictures while our host, being a somewhat local, was yawning away, sitting & waiting..with that "been there, done that" attitude, accompanied by *rolling eyes* thing.. (hehe. ok ok. maybe i exaggerated)

stalls that we see along the streets on the way from the Times Sq area to the Rockefeller place.. these stalls are quite a common sight so far.. they sell nasi ayam, kebab and some other spicy stuffs.. very mamak style a bit 1..

kitty & i..
i'm trying to let u all see what i see.. hope ya all enjoy reading..
